Back by popular demand!
Join us for a fun afternoon of Blues classes, followed by the popular post-workshop dinner and a social dance in the evening!
This workshop is suitable for ALL levels of blues dancers, whether complete beginners or experienced dancers looking to work on their core techniques.
For the first time we will offer 1.5 hours of a more advanced content before the FUNdamentals start. It comes in a package for only £5 more!
Annette hails from Heidelberg, Germany and is one of Europe’s most prominent proselytisers of blues dance as a teacher, social dancer, DJ and organiser. Her love of teaching and dancing are infectious and if you’ve travelled for blues, you probably already knew that!

3 hours of all-level Blues classes will cover all the basics that you will need to rock it on the Blues dance floor while giving more experienced dancers some technical nitty gritty to dig their teeth into! Further descriptions on the class content to come soon.
The classes will be taught in switch style, meaning everyone can learn the lead & follow content of the class if they wish. We believe learning to switch will help you to develop a deeper understanding of the dance and learn techniques faster. It’s also a lot of fun! Think about all the amazing people you will be able to share dances with no matter which role!
If you prefer to stick to either lead or follow role, of course there is an option for that, too. Simply find yourself a booking buddy (e.g. via the facebook event page) and register as a couple. During class, and in the rotation, you can stick to your chosen role.
