The future of East Oxford Community Centre: open meeting

Posted on Updated on

Cowley Cotton Club: the future of our venue

The East Oxford Community Centre has been home to Cowley Cotton Club for the last 8 years. Oxford City Council are proposing some fairly radical changes to the building, one of which is to reduce the hall space on the first floor by half! This would mean that we couldn’t continue to hold Cowley Cotton Club there. It is very difficult to find anywhere else that would be big enough, so we need your help! Come along to the meeting at the community centre on Wednesday 12th October at 7.30pm and hear the proposals and what we can do.

You can read all the proposals here:

Of course, it’s not just CCC that will be affected, as many other local community groups also use the space.
