Happy New Year everyone!
We hope you’ve had a lovely break over Christmas and the New Year and are raring to go for the new term!
We’ve got a few things lined up to get you back into the swing of things, starting with…
Tuesday 3rd January 2017: Swing Fix
Swing Fix gets back to normal after the break with a drop-in Swing Basics lesson at 7.30pm, then social dancing from 8.30-11pm (incorporating the now legendary survivors photo at the end of the evening!). Find us upstairs at the Jericho Tavern, Walton Street, OX2 6AE
Friday 6th January: Hop the Hall
Our monthly social dance returns for a brand new year of swinging tunes, tea n’ cake and good times aplenty!
It still costs only £5, and runs on the first Friday of every month at St Margaret’s Institute on Polstead Road, OX2 6TN.
Check out their website for venue info and location.
Thursday 12th January: Cowley Cotton Club – new term
Roll up! If your new year’s resolution is to get fit or learn a new hobby…why not combine the two and learn to Lindy Hop! We run weekly drop-in dance classes for complete beginners, improvers and intermediate level dancers and you don’t need to bring a partner as we rotate dancers so that everyone dances with everyone! Have a look at the on this website for more information including class times, costs and what to wear.
