Historic Oxford Tour

Meet on the steps of the Ashmolean Museum to join Britain’s most dapper tour guide and “Chap Olympiad” medalist  Russell Nash for a tour roundIMG_7977 our historic University City.

See buildings associated with the university and its 38 colleges and hear stories of some of the famous individuals who studied here.

From Christopher Wren, to Tolkien, to Bill Clinton, Oxford is teeming with stories of writers, martyrs and scientists as well more than a few Harry Potter locations!

Russell is one of London’s most fabulous professional tour guides who specialises in historic tours and is a “blue badge” holder – the highest national guiding qualification.  As a storyteller, Russell brings the past to life and opens  your eyes to the sights around you.

The tour will end in a convenient central location for the Lindy Hoppers’ picnic.

There will be outdoor games, music, dancing and maybe some punting
